Traditional temporary scaffolding stairways often face problems of unstable structure, slow assembly and insufficient anti-fall protection. Our modular construction safety ladder cage, also known as access stair cage or construction access tower, provides a fully enclosed, stable and standardized vertical passage solution for bridge, tunnel, deep foundation pit and high-rise construction sites.
Our safety ladder cage adopts modular assembled design. Standard sections are connected with high-strength bolts, no complicated welding work required on site. Workers can assemble, extend or disassemble the whole structure quickly. Components are standardized, easy for container shipment, storage and repeated reuse across multiple projects, which greatly cuts down labor cost and rental budget for contractors.
Main material & surface treatment
The main frame is made of Q235B carbon steel square tube. Two surface treatment options for different construction environments:
1. Spray painted: Blue / Orange anti-rust paint, economical choice for short-term construction projects.
2. Hot dipped galvanized: Heavy zinc coating, excellent anti-corrosion performance, suitable for coastal, humid, long-cycle infrastructure projects.
Key safety design features
• Fully enclosed protective mesh around the whole cage, preventing falling tools and accidental falling of personnel.
• Anti-slip checkered steel treads, with proper step height and width to reduce slipping risk during up and down movement.
• Double guardrails and toe boards at each platform, meeting international work-at-height safety requirements.
• Self-closing safety gate at the entrance to avoid accidental opening.
• Rest platform every certain height, allowing workers to take rest when climbing high piers or deep pits.
• High load-bearing capacity, supports multiple workers with hand tools to pass at the same time.

Standard section dimension: 3m × 2m × 2m.
We also support custom narrow-size cage for limited space such as narrow bridge piers.
